Because there is a great location to open a venue up in, and it already has a sign that says, you guessed it, Stereo 1.
It was a car audio place most recently, before closing down.

I bought stereo equipment from Stereo 1 when they were on Azusa. Are you talking about the location on Gale?

The Cockpit. It'd be out by the airport.

I remember when they were on Azusa. But, they had moved to Garvey, right off the 10 freeway. Where Westco auto parts used to be way back when.
They opened a Sit n Sleep and Sherwin Williams next to it. For some reason no businesses seem to last in that location. It must be cursed.

Oh, that's right. There was one there too. Freeway adjacent and plenty of parking.
