Volbeat's singer is like a happy Danzig. From the 50s.

| | | | Puscifer..Conditions of My Parole. Maynard James Keenan's latest effort. This one is very different and more successful than the last. It's like Perfect Circle meets NIN meets, uh...electro Folk rock. Try it. |

| | | | I attended Elliott Carter's 103rd Birthday Celebration Concert at the 92nd Street Y last week. Dude is older than dirt and he's still actively composing! (And he was in attendance!)
Not only did they perform the 4 or 5 world premiers that had been announced in advance, they also added two additional premieres that were so new that there was no time to include them in the program! I'll bet the ink on the manuscript was still wet. |

They went from the retro garage-pop of their first album to a more Pink Floyd-y sound on this one, and it fits them well. Highly recommend!
