What Other Musical Talents Do You Have?

I know there are people on here who play instruments other than bass. Tell us about them!

I play a little bit of harmonica... but my true love (other than my bass) is my Resonator Guitars.

I too have...musical body parts...depending on what I just ate.

I can also play guitar reasonably well, though I dont own one yet.

My first instrument was (and still is) alto saxophone. I've been playing that about 17-18 years. Bass about 13 years.

I play piano to an average standard, but my main other musical skill is singing - I have a 3 1/2 octave voice without using falsetto. I had a lot of classical singing training when I was younger, and I tend to have a lot of Andrea Bocelli and Andrew Lloyd Webber shows on the stereo in the car to sing along to!

I can sing pretty well. When I apply myself, I can play the piano, flute, and mandolin, in order of proficiency. I use the word "proficiency" loosely, as I seldom have the time to apply myself to these instruments.

I need to win the lotto so I'll have the time.

First instrument was piano at age 5. Then saxophone in grade school. I also sing quite a bit in my band, although nobody's ever accused me of being a talented singer...

I've played the flute for over 40 years; it's definitely my first instrument. I double some in my band on flute and wind synthesizer (Stairway to Heaven, Lucky Man, Can't Always Get What You Want, etc.)

The flute is pretty cool in the right setting. There's an awesome flute solo on the Wolfmother CD. Some pretty cool flute on some EZ Rollers DnB tunes as well.

We're working on "Woman" right now. I'd love to do a lot more with the flute but no one else in the band is stepping up to cover the bass part.
