Question What piece of gear can't you live without?

Sign in to disble this ad
First off, I know this could/should go in another forum area, but I thought i'd get the best response here.

Second, DON'T say your bass or amp or speakers, cause we
all know that.

NOW...

What piece of gear MUST you have beyond those? Who
makes it, and why do you need it so much?

Just curious...

My SansAmp BDDI. It makes almost any bass sound so much better through almost any cab or head.

lead maybe?

or strings. I could quite easily live without my amp however. (I never use it when I'm practising - actually come to think of it i have 2 and one of them is used for band practise. but it's never at my house so it might as well be my drummers amp)

My instrument cord... Made by pretty much anyone... Because electric basses don't work as good without them.

too late for me. my tinnitus is so bad now that when i put earplugs in, it feel like someone is stabbing me in the ear.

my gear is my boss tu-2 tuner. that thisng has been dropped, kicked and abused so much i'm surprised that it still works. love it though.

A tin of plectrums - for when you have gigged for 3 hours a night, five nights in a row, and your fingers begin to feel the pain!
