What series is this fender strat from?

First of all, sorry about putting this in the bass forum. I wasn't sure which forum to put this one in.

Fender Stratocaster | eBay

I found this strat on ebay and at a first glance, I thought it was a mexican standard, but after looking at the pics, I'm not sure. You don't normally see that style logo on a mexican standard, and it also has a truss rod which is adjust down by the body. It also has little fender message on the spring tremolo cover thing, but I can't quite make out what it says. This guitar was made in 2002/3 so is it possible that it is a discontinued series?

Thanks guys

Mexican standard usually have the serial on the front of the headstock, probably since the mid 90s. I think I saw an MIM standard the other day from like 93 that might have had the serial on the back of the headstock, but had the 50s logo like this one, but this old MIM had the new style tuners. I think the one in that auction is probably sort of a 50s reissue (I mean Classic 50's guitar as mentioned below) bc of the old logo and vintage tuners, though I thought white was more of a 60-70s color (think hendrix). Hard to see the bridge but it looks vintage style too. Just my two cents.

Possibly a Classic Series '50s Strat. The "message" on the trem spring cover is simply the advertising they put on 'em.

I really really like the Classic Series instruments. Pickups originally were OK, but they later gave them better Alnico pickups. I've had a '60s model since about 2001, and it's a great instrument. Only consistent problem I've heard of is the trem block- if you put the arm in and out, it has a tendency to strip the threads in the inertia block. Fender replaced my first one under warranty, but about two years ago I put a stainless steel one in there.
