| I have some 25 basses. Most of them have frets. I really haven't taken much note of the size of any of them. People seem to concern themselves with the most minute details.
When I was younger, anything that deviated from my main axe was tragic. Now, I have and regularly play so many different basses that I barely blink going from a 7-string, to a 12, to an Ashbory.
The frets never really stick out at me as being a concern.
I think the bass I have that most makes itself noticable for feeling disconcertingly "different" in my hand is my L2 Steiney. Still feels like the big end of a Louisville Slugger sawed in half... |
