Chili peppers would be great IMO but we have two guitar players which I don't see working out on a lot of their stuff. Even though a lot of songs have the acoustic playing on chorus's and stuff.

Alice in Chains can work well with 2 guitars...like "I Stay Away" etc, one of you jump on accoustic for it.

'I'm Just a Singer In a Rock & Roll Band' by the Moody Blues
'You Can't Always Get What You Want' by the Rolling Stones

Herbie hancock is a great idea. The band i'm in is more than likely capable some of the most talented musicians. Yes even in high school. Any particular ones you can think of?

Watermelon man would be awesome if you could get a keyboard (for most HH songs, or a wind instrument) but uh cantaloupe island, chameleon, headhunters, you know alot of those are really catchy for the audience to get into but play something that's fun too, that's what it's all about rock on dawg!!
