What to wear (need funny costume)

Sign in to disble this ad
There is a huge carneval in my hometown. It's like the biggest event in our country (called Pust in Cerknica if anyone in mid eu want to come). There will be 3 stages and we got one for 2 sets. All we need are costumes. I'm completly out of ideas this year, so please help me. It's a 5 piece band, we need to be funny (or creepy or whatever) and we need to have lots of clothes (temperatures here are about -10 degrees celcium). Any ideas? (I was thinking of south park xD)

Yeah, Kenny could work, as long as you don't have to sing.
Mrrffhhmm....

Oh, and please don't get "killed"

Do you really need to wear a costume? Like, is it a requirement, or is this just something your band wants to do?

Is there a theme to the carnival? That might help with costume ideas.

Few years back when I was filling in for a band that had a woman singer we played a Halloween show as the Adams Family ( I was uncle Fester) that was a fun show.

Needing to be warm....I like the yeti idea or perhaps have the singer as Santa and his reindeer band.

wrap yourself in a duvet and tie it in bands, pop a sailor hat on and be stay puff'd marshmallow man

or just grab a big jacket with a hood and be kenny, wrap a footbal (soccer) in a removable hood and pull you head in the collar of your jacket so you can kill kenny

Wait--are you playing outside in -10şC weather? If so, I'd go as the cast from The Thing. The drummer could be the "thing" itself.

I'm guessing it'll be a big stage so don't bother with subtlety at all. Make sure the whole band looks consistent and coherent.

I wouldn't go that far but I've done this:

Chicks dig it. A different fuzzy animal hat for each band member would be a good cheap and easy option.

The band MGMT did a Halloween show dressed as the characters in Scooby Doo. Something like that might be fun.
