What would you guys compare THIS band to?

Hey guys, this is actually a band I am currently in. Have a listen to the the tune and lemme know what you think. Would you say the sound is comparable to many mainstream artists or do you think its pretty original and fresh?? Looking forward to your comments, also if u have myspace and like what you hear feel free to add us

I like it a lot, Spector. It sort of reminds me of Saves the Day. I really enjoy how the track builds, though I think the guitar solo kind of kills it. I'd recommend adding vocals underneath the solo to keep the intensity building, but that's just me. Not too original, but pretty fresh. I think it's pretty good.

EDIT: Parts remind me of Further Seems Forever.

Thanks for the feedback. I listened to your band, very good stuff...can't say I ever heard of "shoegaze" though. I have not considered adding backing vocals to the solo, thats actually a good idea! I will definitely not forget to suggest this at our next recording session.
