What is wrong with me?

I can sit and drool over amps, cabs, effects units and even monster cables all day.

but

When it comes to the actual basses I have no idea what I'm looking for to drool over! Gah, it's really irritating because I need a new bass in a bad way.

There needs to be a medical term for this condition.....Insufficient use of GAS maybe?

I think I have a similar problem. I want a new bass so bad, but don't know what one I want. Its frustrating.

Go out and try a few. Find one (or two hundred ) that you like.

I was actually the same way, except with amps. Amps are my "what should I drool over" thing.
