I'm gonna go left field now and say I'm digging playing in a country band. The enjoyment for me is in keeping to the genre, but making the lines as simple as I can while at the same time making them as melodic as possible. Emory Gordy Jnr (Elvis, Emmylou Harris, producer) was an absolute master at this. I'm learning a lot by listening to him. |
