Music wise I mean. For me its 3/4 time signature. I don't know what it is, but play a song in 3/4 and I am hooked. And it is not a conscious decision, looking back some of my favorite songs during childhood, before I even knew anything about music, were 3/4. What is a little strange is whenever I freestyle or come up with riffs today they tend to be in 5/4. Go figure. |

I gotta say, the novelty wears off when the set list is that skewed towards waltzes.
As far as being a sucker, I guess I am a sucker for not ending a tune on the tonic. Leave 'em hanging! |

Also LOVE the following sounds:
1) Baritone Sax
2) Bass Clarinet
3) Old analogue keys like Hammond, Rhodes, Clav, Mellotron, ARP Strings etc
4) Gongs

'Love's Theme' by Barry White & the Love Unlimited Orchestra is an amazing thing.
I think that was disco's most redeeming characteristic.

I also love 6/8, and any sort of triplet or out-of-time riffs that come together at the end.
