i go through phases of what is my favourite but at the moment it would have to be the main bassline in "hilikus - incubus" or the slapped verses in "aeroplane - rhcp". both great funk basslines that i love to play.

paradise by sade. this is a great work out for beginners (or anyone really) but only a supremely talented bassist could have written and tracked this bass line. paul s. denman is sade's bassist. for anyone serious about bass, his lines required learning. peace, jeff
