To work on learning the modes better, and to get better at chordal playing. (Which is to say that I want to get better at seeing the chord markings and playing with the chord tones, in case my nomenclature is off)

Get better, find some cool groups to play with, and get more involved in musical theater (pit orchestras).

To heal up from my cancer and to have my chops and reading back to the point of where they were when I was diagnosed.

Also want a 5-string MIA Precision.

Kind of like P Aaron above, heal up from my double bypass surgery, then devote much more time to my fretless playing. Also, I've made a vow to only play in projects that are truly fun, life's too short to gig in projects that don't make you smile.

To spend less time rehearsing cover tunes and more time on drills and more selfish bass pursuits.

I'll be picking up an SX Fretless P-Bass soon (my first fretless), so I want to learn to play that relatively in tune, and to learn how to read bass clef.
