It does say "Closed for vacation until July 12th" right on the front page, so I'm guessing everyone's on vacation until July 12th. |

A manufacturer also can't give part of a manufacturing team a vacation. It will still shut down the line. So.....they all get vacation at the same time.

The main advantage is to let the maintenance / engineering crews do critical tear down retrofits, and updates that they just cant do during production.

I would hate that. But I guess it's better than no paid vacation (or permanent vacation, i.e., no job).

Come to think of it. Maybe "someone" was actually an employee of Rickenbacker and is on vacation for the last two weeks.
Wait...
What did I just say?
