I love SVX and don't know if there's a huge bass slant here but I like all this gear! Even being a big software user, I can't help but like these pictures. Anybody know what some of this stuff is? http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...d=337617160146

I spent a few hours the other night trying to figure this stuff out. I checked out the photo comments this evening. Looks like a lot of people are tagging what the items are. I am looking forward to finding out what these pictures are related to.

Hi there, my name is Luke and I'm a Bassest/music producer form the UK. Im not overly hot on my gear but I love the amp sims from IK, actually as a producer I like there synths as well and T-Racks!! There are some other forums where people have identified loads of the gear and if you have missed it IK said someone manages to identify all the gear from the photos (including ones to come) they will get a free copy of what ever this new soft where is!

I wont be winning it as I couldn't identify it all! But am looking forward to what ever it is that is coming. I think it is Amplitube 3. IK had T-Racks 3, sample tank 3 is in production. With all the progress IK have made in the amplitube range as well (fender was a massive step forward) i reckon its an upgrade for amplitube 2 to 3. Some of this gear has been modelled before by IK so makes sense that its an upgrade! I tell you what though I cant wait for it. Very excited about the Trace Elliott too as I used to play on my mates dads old one, very nice!!

If your interested in the gear check out:

Also heard in the other forums it might also include and overall shell that could incorporate all IK's gear so you can use the sample tank, t racks and amplitube stuff in one!!

Thanks for all those links - they are definitely smart people guessing! I don't know if I have a chance to win but I'm pretty interested in whatever ends up coming out as the product from the sound of it!

Looks like they added a new pic today of an electro-harmonix small stone phase shifter.

I found a good bit of information about this pedal at:

56 pics now. They added Vox, Trace Elliot, and Roland pics today.

NAMM Show starts January 14, 2010. Some folks are speculating a formal announcement regarding whatever this is will occur then. I hope it's sooner!

Thanks for that, will give that a read for sure. No time like the present to start learning, especially as I use it in software terms! Appreciate the link.

That would be cool! But that just means more time to wait for the winner and for whoever ends up really wanting this LOL

Doesn't IK already model tons of amps and pedals? Isn't that what Amplitude is for? Why the excitement over the new pics? Me no understand? If they are modelling new stuff, then it seems like a regular upgrade to Amplitude is on the way, v 3 I believe?

Yeah, looks like more stuff. I guess since Amplitube 2 was from years ago, maybe they are bringing it all up to the Amplitube Fender standard? Others have said that, since Fender is much better quality to most people's ears?

Yeah, Fender is awesome. I'd love this to roll in all the separate products and just make X-Gear the be-all-end-all honestly. Probably not as good for business, but great for us!

The bass stuff in the pictures looks pretty good - the GK is kind of an odd one but I bet the Trace Elliott is great! Would love to see more Ampeg but that's already been nailed pretty good.
