WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE JIMI HENDRIX LINE UP?!

Sign in to disble this ad
Is it the original line up of Jimi, Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding, at the dawn of Jimi's career where he was young, brash and bold and highly experimental?

Was it the band of gypsies the all black line up with Billy Cox on Bass, and Buddy Miles on drums and back up vocals? The band of gypsies was all about funk, soul and a little prog in there too.

Or my favorite line up, the last incarnation of the Experience line up late in Jimi's brief career with mitch mitchell back on drums and Billy Cox on bass, which was the core of the woodstock concert also.

What is your favorite line up?

The original line-up. I also prefer original Coca-Cola. But you're probably going to get people saying Billy Cox was better than Noel Redding and people saying Redding wasn't a real bassist, blah, blah blah. This argument has been going on for a century now. I still liked the original line-up better and I prefer the acid rock sound of the original band.

The original without a doubt.
