Scored a 5.
Guess I'd better shred the credit cards while I still have the strength.

Scored a 2. I'm not really that active a musican, I admit. I do have bad gas for a P bass among other things though, but I also know it's not wise to buy things I can't afford. I won't buy any more gear on credit like I used to do; these recession days have proved to me you cannot take a regular income for granted. Instead, I'm saving up money now for the first time in my working life, so I wouldn't have to show my credit card every time I need something a bit more expensive. Feels indefinitely better this way...

I scored a 5 on the test.

I'm surprised because in reality I have a lot of GAS.
Once I have everything I want now, realistic purchases, I'll be GAS-free. But I say that every time.

I scored a 5.

I think i'm just well aware of the fact that i don't have much money. That, and i'm pretty dang well off at the moment. Aside from a nice P bass theres nothing else i really want. Of course there's the wonderful world of pedals, but even those i have enough of... maybe a VT Bass or Sansamp... and my roomate has a horrible perpensity to leave up 4MS videos on the computer right around pay day.... Argh!

Your GAS Diagnosis
Your Score:1 points

No substantial GAS detected. You've either quit playing, recently gotten married, had kids, or are currently on tour.
I am an active musician, with three different projects. I play out 3-4 nights a week. I've not been bitten the bug that so many seem to have been. I buy carefully ... never on impulse, and always because I NEED something, not just WANT it. Shiny objects have never tempted me (well, I have bought some fishing lures because I liked the shine ... )

Well, I gotta admit it - I can't afford expensive equipment... :'(
I do play a lot though... :/ I would never stop playing...

7 for me... but that's based on the "have you ever" questions.

Me now... should be about a two.

I scored a 0. It's not surprising that a test put together by folks who make money SELLING sh*t is geared towards encouraging people to buy sh*t.

It's not the gear, it's the EAR.

Got a 1. Now,if it said something about gassing for gear that was stolen from you I'd test off the chart.

I rate myself a 6, but I'm trying to improve. I hope to get to 8 or 9 this year.

Edit: Interestingly, I guessed at 6(didn't see the test at first), then took the test and scored 6. Does that give me extra credit?

I scored a 5 so I'm perfectly healthy enough to go to NAMM with a U Haul trailer.
