What's your next big music-related purchase?

So far in my bass odyssey I have two basses, a good amp, a number of pedals, a wireless instrument system, and various othet goodies. So I'm all set in the gear department. I'm thinking my next big purchase is going to be Roy Vogt's Teach Me Bass Guitar series of DVD lessons. $187.50, and I've started saving my pennies to buy it. Might take a while since I'm still unemployed, but I'll get there eventually. I know about paying for it in three installments, but I've got this thing about paying in full for things. Less hassle that way.

So, what are you looking at down the pike?

I'm handling about 90% of the lead vocal duty in my main band, and at least 50% in an acoustic side project, so I'm currently looking at getting a Boss VE-20. Nice to control your own reverb and delay, and getting a host of real-world vocal effects and harmonies with no fuss is right up my alley.

EHX POG2 and some kinda spacey tremolo effects pedals to satisfy my itch to noodle around.
Tech 21 VT Bass pedal (waiting for ver 2) for my "normal" daily playing.
ps, Maybe for others those aren't 'big' purchases but they are for me for me.

Could be a new mixer. I'd like one with a USB port for recording to a computer, and 24 channels would be nice too.

An amp that doesn't weigh 70 pounds. I'm thinking of the GK MB series combos, or the Ampeg micro stack.

Just bought a Presonus TubPre on craigslist but kinda got ripped off... Power supply didn't work. So, I just bought a power supply for that. Otherwise, I'm on the lookout for a pedalboard.

Either a Telecaster or an M-Audio Venom. Still undecided, but leaning towards the Venom.

Long time electric bass player, 18 months ago I got myself an Eminence -- a small bodied, slightly-acoustic double-bass.

I'm no whiz on it, but I'm ready to get a real, full-bodied stand-up bass -- maybe one of these:

I've got a solid background in jazz; but I also get a real kick outa pounding out pop/rock/roots/funk on an upright!

Warmoth build has been on my mind for months now. Aside from that, a second, lighter, head would be nice. Gallien Kruger 700RB at the top of the short list.
