What's On Your "No Stairway To Heaven" Sign?

Sign in to disble this ad
The black sabbath thread reminded me of classic scene in Wayne's World, the employee stops Wayne mid-shred and points to the sign in the music shop that says, "No Stairway To Heaven."

If you owned a music store, what would be on your "forbidden" list of songs?

Let the contempt flow!

A sure fire way to be banned for life from Bass Central:

Play the RHCP version of "Higher Ground".

...oh, and first we beat you strenuously with a lead-filled rubber hose for subjecting us to that torture.

That said, we do get a low incidence of wankage here...thankfully...must be cuz there's no guitarists around to irritate us.

Nothing, I'd use one of those rooms with the semi soundproof glass doors for people to check out gear. Then they can play whatever makes them comfortable w/o annoying me.

Back in my day-
No "Smoke On The Water"
...and many bass wannabes(like me) were the guilty ones.

It took a little more talent back then to pull off "Stairway".

Lateralus by tool for the bassplayers.

We really asked people not to play this stuff!
