Mine sounds like the simplest one yet.

Basses:
Fretless Fender Jazz
Fretted Fender Jazz
Both are currently strung with DR Sunbeams. They rest in a Levy's double gigbag. One gets a Moody's strap. One gets a Levy's.

Amp:
SWR Redhead
SWR Triad as extension cab

Effects:
VERY rarely I add a Boss Bass Chorus and/or a Boss Octaver, mostly on the fretless to do sort of a late '80's Pino Palladino thing.

Do you run both the speaker in the Redhead and Triad at the same time?

Love that amp btw

That way you're pushing a fifteen, three tens and two tweeters. Basically the same as most '410 on 115' but smaller.

I either run my Warwick Thumb directly into the PA or I use my TFB-420 and AG Tri112-L.

I have bigger stuff if I need it (it's in my profile) but since I've started playing jazz most of the rooms are medium/small unless it's outside.

Load in and load out is a snap.

Basses:
Dean Razor,Rogue LX 405

On a small homemande pedalboard:
Samson Airline Wireless,Behringer TU100 Tuner,
Behringer CS100 Compressor,Fishman Dual Parametric DI

Direct to board, and through floor wedge monitor & mains.
I place the pedalboard on a percussion tray that attatches to
a small speaker stand. It's at a good height so I can click the
tuner on & off between sets, and the wireless gets good
reception. All my pedals are on all the time (except tuner) so
there's no need to step on them.

Set up & tear down is a snap, and my tone is great run direct.

Here's how my big rig is going to be when it's finished, should be done by the middle of March. Right now I am sans-wirelesses, and am using a Sansamp in place of the AGRO but everything else is set.

12 space shockmount ATA rack on wheels
Furman power conditioner
Korg DTR-2 tuner
2 X2 digital wirelesses and battery charger on a sliding rack shelf
Aguilar DB680
Aguilar AGRO in effects loop of DB680
Aguilar DB728 power
Aguilar GS412

At the front of the stage will be the footswitch for the AGRO, and the footswitch for the DB680 is near the rack to tune or switch instruments. Sound to the board is the pre-EQ DI from the DB680 and a mic on the cab.

All that's needed to set up is to plug into power, plug my cab in, turn everything on, run the footswitches where they need to be, and tune up.

Jason, your rigs ALWAYS kick ass!

My big one is as follows in a shockmount rack:
Furman power
XWire wireless
Korg DTR-1
Avalon 737sp
Digital Music Corp. GCX switcher
Mesa Stereo Strategy 500

Awaiting wiring into the GCX Switcher and rear-mounting:
Electrix Filter Queen
Ampeg SVP-BSP

This rack is fed into a pair of Mesa Powerhouse Jrs.
