Where can I get a J-bass control plate with no holes?

Pretty simple - I need a control plate for my Dingwall Super J with no holes in it. I've gutted the electronics, and installed a single three-way switch for selecting pickups. I'd like to find a blank and drill a single hole where I want the switch to go. Where can I find such a beast?

Your best bet might be to ask Warmoth or Allparts who the supplier is for that part. If you can't get in contact with the supplier than maybe they can ask for a custom one to be made. (Or only be half-made, depending on how you look at it.)

Unless they make their own, of course, in which case you can just ask them if they'll do it.

Good luck.

It took years of looking to find a blank Telecaster control plate. I can point you to one of those now that I've settled in on how ugly my beat up, drilled up plate is.

My brother in law had some metal brackets made at a local metal shop- if you're only getting one- I'd imagine the cost to be disproportionately prohibitive.
