Where Can I Learn Bass Clef For Free Or Cheap?

Sign in to disble this ad
Here's my situation. I'm 14, jobless and there's no one (other than my school band teacher who hates me and always "has to pick up his daughter after school" who will teach me bass clef.

I'm a self taught bassist and I know nothing more than tablature and the notes of the four strings. I play clarinet which, as I'm sure you know, uses treble clef. No bass clef experience.

Like I said, I'm 14 and don't have a lot of money but I was wondering if there's any good, reliable sites that could give me a lesson on what all the notes are in bass clef and what fret they coorespond to. This would really help me in playing more music, writing my own and maybe even teaching some day.

Thanks,
Remi

Use www.studybass.com and take a look at the bass clef tutor on the links list on the left. I use this site all the time and there's even a test on bass clef to help you. The site is written by a teacher so you're getting good information.
