Where to find this body.

Hey, I wanted to make my own P bass from scratch kind of, Or just buy one and change the body and pickups. Well my main point is Ive been looking for a Butterscotch Blonde Fender P Bass body and it is the only real color that appeals to me. Now I only see it sold on the American P basses like seen on guitar center and musicians friend's website. I really like the color but cannot find it. Does anyone know where I can find it. Im not sure what to do and i dont know if I can email fender or not and see if I can buy it from them. Any one know of a solution... thanks

Check out Warmoth, they offer P bodies and paint in the color you are interested in.

Im confused, are you trying to get any bass in that color, or are you trying to build a bass in that color, or are you having trouble getting a fender bass in that color?

Its just a stain, so if you wanted to I know warmoth would do that color for you. If you havent seen that color in a store you just havent been to the right store. Both the GC and Sam ash near me have a ton of american fenders in that color. Its not real rare, you could get a pbass in that color reletively easily by ordering it through a dealer.

Im not saying I cant find the American in that color because i see it all over too, i just want the P Bass Body in the Butterscotch Blonde Color. Ill check out this warmoth because Ive heard only little about it. Thanks

Allright I Just went onto the WarMoth Site, It cost's 170 for the body and 185 to do a paint job, and they dont have the color in solid only in transparent so not really intersted in them.

What exactly were you expecting, price wise? And that color you linked to IS transparent.

i wasnt expecting it to be 350 bucks for just a painted body when you can by an allready made p bass with internals neck and all for just about a hundred dollars more. guess ill just get myself a deluxe p bass
