Where to get Fender Molded P/J Case?

Anyone know where to get one of these new for less than $90?


Every place I see them on the net with the Fender red or blue labels or this one pictured...or the SKB version, have been from $90-$120

eBay is pointless cause they get gobbled up so fast...and people seem to want way too much for the used ones.

I have a plane trip coming up soon and need one of these real quick........thanks for any bargain site help

I don't have a bargain site to hit, but my suggestion is to try calling around to some of the bigger music stores to see what they may have.

I picked up an inexpensive MIJ Strat a couple of days ago from a Music Go Round in WI, that won't have a case. I e-mailed my local guitar shop (www.davesguitar.com) to see if they had any used Fender cases lying around. They hooked me up with an almost new molded Fender case, just like the one pictured...for $59. I realize it's a shot in the dark, but what the heck. As always, it's being in the right place at the right time.

I'd give the boys over at Dave's Guitar Shop in La Crosse a call to see if they have any similar bass cases lying around.

locally, it would definately be a needle in a haystack if I found a used one of these laying around Des Moines

Wow!! I got lucky.

A simple Google search a couple days later and I was able to snag a used one a couple states away at a Music Go Round in Michigan for $35!!

Nice guy to deal with, he personally emailed me 4 pics and knocked off an extra $5
