Where to get shipping boxes

I'll be shipping two EA CXL112's and I don't know where to get boxes to ship them in. Does anyone know of a good place to get boxes besides GC.

You mean for free? Do you have any other music stores around besides GC? I ususally go to my local shop as they get tons of stuff in a couple of times a week and have a lot of left over boxes. Otherwise, as store like office max or staples will have shipping supplies.

Because of the size, you may need to try a moving supply place. Something like U-Haul might do the trick.

grocery stores. If they are too thin for proper protection, double box and slide cardboard down the corners inside.

My technique is unique

Unh, Yeah
I'm droppin bombs in shippin
So tell me why you trippin
Sorry, my gangsta rap roots showing...
I go down to the local bicycle shop & grab a bike box or two. Lay 'em out flat, remove staples & separate glued joints & you have a couple of pieces of super-heavy-duty wrapping paper. Draw out fold(emboss w/a dull pointed instrument or skate wheel)& cut(I use a box cutter)lines w/a sharpie & straight edge. Apply strapping tape liberally, & for extra protection, first wrap the item to be shipped w/styrofoam insulation material.

Auto body shops...boxes that are used for bumpers work pretty good.

go to walmart at midnight when they are stocking stuff, very often they will just give you as many boxes as you want, as well as that clear celophane wrap that works great as packing material.
