where to get warwick strings in Canada?

Sign in to disble this ad
i'm looking for the 5 string 45-135 strings & can't find them anywhere. Long & McQuade is the biggest warwick dealer in Canada, and they can't get them

I guess I'm going o have to order a few sets online - does anyone know an online retailer that sells these & ships from Canada (trying to avoid import duties, etc)

OR, is there a good replacement set? I'd really like to stick with a taper wound b string becaue I don't want to have to mess with my intonation & saddle height every time i buy different string...

Thanks!

The one in Winnipeg never carries them. I get the same story when I ask so I buy most of my strings at St. John's or Mothers.

i'm in victoria, BC.

they used to sell them, but don't really have any anymore. I called a couple in vancouver & they have some but only the light guage ones. when i asked about ordering they laughed & said that it could take one week to a year, and even then they may never get them...

they said that warwick is really bad for shipping strings & that's why they don't have them

You may as well bite the bullet and order them online. At least that way you will get them.

I heard from L+McQ that Warwick does take a while. Why don't you ask your store to get them transferred from another location. It should only take a week or two.
