I have a bass to sell. Where can I sell it at? I know Craigslist and Ebay. I know here but I don't have a subscription. Anywhere else?

Those are probably your best bets. I would say drop th $20 for a supporting membership... it's totally worth it. Plus selling it on ebay will cost you at least this much in listing, percentage, and paypal fees

I personally think that the Craig is the best, if you don't mind having people come to your house. The buyer gets to see the bass, there's no disagreement about the condition, no eBay payment hassles, and shipping is free.

When you post your ad on the Craig, you will get the obligatory Nigerian scam e-mails, which you can just ignore.

If you sell it online, then TB is the best site.

I have 4 basses and 3 were bought here. Most of my selling has happened here. Just seems to be much more fun and less stressful selling to members.
Craigslist is sometimes spooky to deal on. Ebay is fairly easy but not free.

Thanks for the replies. I guess my only hang up with selling here or Ebay is the shipping. I don't have a case and I don't want to send something and have it get wrecked in transit.

Shipping is a bit of a pain for amps, cabs, and somewhat for basses (packaging is important)... I'll give you that. I'd rather sell locally almost all the time but here and on ebay you'll get a way bigger audience and probably more for your instrumet/amp/cab.
