Saw this too. I thought they'd broken up years ago.

Hey, wait.... Time to start up that White Stripes tribute band! Now to find a mildly attractive drummer with awesome hoots.

Saw them once on Conan some years ago when they were first hitting it big, Conan raved about them and how they were critically acclaimed, etc., etc. I watched them and was completely unimpressed. So, meh, for me too. No disrespect meant, I just didn't care for them.

This is a bit disappointing. They are easily one of my favorite bands.
Oh well, good things must come to an end, I suppose.

Wow...I like the White Stripes. Never took the time to get all that much into them, but I always liked the little bit that I have in my library. I would've never guessed so many people disliked them

I'm a big fan of them too but it's been 3 or 4 years since they put anything out... I just figured it was over.

Jack White is more blues than all of the lame-o SRV clones that call themselves "blues" artists.

I can take or leave the White Stripes.

Maybe this will give Jack more time to spend in those other bands with other good musicians who can play, sing, and write songs.
