Who can sight read "How Long Has That Evening Train Been Gone" ?

I just played trough the Motown book. I can read most of it, but How Long..is hard. I can get trough the song, but with LOTS of mistakes.

I never saw that, but I can play the tune, even if it's not note-for-note. I don't see the point of learning Motown stuff by reading. The groove is not in the notes. Better go by your ear and negotiate the changes. Don't worry too much about mistakes, you'll be able to correct yourself by and by. The notated line is a guide, and you don't have to regard it as cut in stone, even if it was taken down from a recording.

True dat, but its fun to play Jamersons lines..and its good reading practice.
