This isn't a "who do you wish you could make music with?" or "Who writes music similar to you?" thread. I'm asking who you think you could make awesome music with if you were to get into a band with them. I'd like to sit down with Eric Bachman (Archers of Loaf) for a while... I think we're kind of on the same plane for writing music & we have mutual friends but have never met. It'd be interesting.
Interesting thread man! I think I could truly vibe with a lot of the Daptone records bands....Lee Fields and the Expressions, The Budos Band, Menahan Street Band...but am often convinced that I missed my optimum window...I would feel right at home playing with James Brown, Fred Wesley and the JB's etc....this thread is about a mysterious topic imo....Chemistry...that elusive all important element that can transport you to magical places...or have you hiding your head in the sand....
