Who else is going to Bass Immersion Day II in NYC?

Sign in to disble this ad
Is anyone going to the Bass Immersion Day event that Mike Visceglia is hosting on October 11th?

Bakithi Kumalo, Lincoln Goines, Patrick Pfeiffer, and Chris Tarry are doing a day long clinic, followed up by a performance at the Bitter End. If anyone needs details feel free to PM me-

I went to the first one that they did in April and it was killer-

I may be playing that day, but those gigs are usually early with this guy. So I should be able to make the performance... I really should, Bakithi is my old teacher!

Just saw an ad on craigslist for this. I may go. October is a million years away though. I took a couple of lessons with Pat Pfeiffer a while back. He is a super cool dude. Contacted me with gig offers even years after I stopped going. I think I was one of the few 'rock' guys who went to him, so he'd call me now and then when a 'rock' gig popped up.

This thread is nearly two years old. Will the event be occurring in October of 2011 as well?

Ha! Didn't even notice that. I wondered why they'd be advertising so early. It's actually this Sunday, July 31, 2011. Location: Mount Holly, NJ - The Firehouse. Here's the craigslist Ad: Bass Players: Bass Extravaganza - Sunday!

Yes, I've met both of these guys that are running it - Patrick and Mike. They're great guys, and very into supporting the bass community. They hold "bass brunches" every so often in NYC, I attend once and it was cool.

I'd like to go to this, but it's tough to get out to NJ without a car.
