I'm looking for something w good sized pockets for cables, stomp boxes etc.
hopefully on the lighter side.. something really good..
I want something modern w lots of padding although not super chunky & thick.
I own a Ritter bag and it's served me well, it's got a hole o
or 2, time to replace it.
I love the styling on the mono bags
though they seem a little heavy to me.
my primary bass is a Roscoe, they sell a decent looking bag
I havnt looked at it's specs, pockets etc

My Century Standard V came in one. I actually ended up using that bag with all of my Roscoes at one point or another, because my Shuttle 6.0 fit perfectly in the front pocket. Ideal for sub gigs, and it still keeps the instrument safe. It also has a little suede strip at the bottom of the bag, which keeps it from slipping if you stand the case up against a wall and a particularily slippery surface (like a hardwood floor).

I like a Roscoe bag for my Roscoe
I wasn't positive that they were roomy enough
I've also got my eye on the ritter revolution series: https://shoppingcart.djangobooks.com...0-REPTILE.html
I'm seeing igigs too, they seem chunky, I need to compare weight
w these..
the Ritter I own is thin yet padded, i know
I shouldn't load my axe in the van without a hard case, but I do.
I can't handle walking w the hard case and my effects, etc it's too heavy, I get to those subway stairs and it's too much for me..
so I need a bag.. a quality bag.

seem rather heavy though.
The Mooradian bass bag is very light weight and has three
good sized storage pockets, but they aren't cheap. I think
around $180. or so. I'd pay it again. |

I think my max that I've carried in it at once, is my Bass, a Markbass F-1, a 15.4 inch laptop, cables and wires for both, instrument cable, chromatic tuner, ipod, tshirt and undies(stayed at the ex's place that night) and still had my arms free to carry my speaker cab, due to the EXTREMELY comfortable and adjustable shoulder straps!
The bag isn't overly light, but it provides for one trip solutions going in and out of a gig, and is built to last! I couldn't recommend it more.

-Grady | Do you think it would be possible to fit a 17" laptop in there? |

but I'm a gigbag "overstuffed" too,
3 monster cables a,2 stomps(my pitchblack plus& 1 effect)
a towel, extra t shirt, strings, wire cutters,a notebook.. that's everytime.
so the pockets got to be large.. very.
the Sadowsky portabag seems like the only bag that's got huge pockets,( like my Ritter)
it weighs seven & 1/2 lbs though..
I'm also looking at undercover, I live near fodera, they use them..
I may take a look at these two first.
