Who played what? (Pink Floyd Question)

Sign in to disble this ad
This might be a too big question to ask, but is there a site that will tell me exactly who played what on every song on every pink floyd album (or just some of them)? I've seen a site like this for the beatles, and it was very fascinating, because sometimes you see someone you dont expect to play something play it. In particular, i want to see roger waters imput in actually playing instruments, not just writing/supervising/etc. Im a huge roger fan by the way. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Don't know of any sites, but you should pick up the book "Another Brick in the Wall" by Cliff Jones. It has every album, who played what, how each song was written and recorded -- everything you ever wanted to know about The Floyd.

If you actually 'have' the albums, it says who plays what for everything. If you can't go that route then go to wikipedia and there will be plenty of links on the Pink Floyd page.

Well don't you know? Roger Waters played every instrument, on every track.

Just ask him.

Nobody ever played anything on the Floyd albums. The music played itself, they were that sick nasty.
