Who would be your all-star bandmates!?!?

Sign in to disble this ad
This might be a fun question, hopefully not done too often before:

if you could team up with a group of members and make music, who would they be?

I figured a band with 2-3 guitarists, drummer, keys/organ, vocals, and anything else in your band and you as the bassist (don't worry about feeling humbled)

I've gotta think of mine but just throwin' it out!

+1 on Keith Emerson and Steve Howe. I see your progressive lean

For me, I thought it out and I think we'll go with:

Eric Clapton - lead guitar
Duane Allman - lead and slide guitar
Pete Townshend - rhythm guitar
Keith Moon - drums
Gregg Allman - keys and vocals
Bob Seger - vocals
John Popper - the occasional harmonica
John Entwistle - gotta have some french horn once in a while...hope he doesn't mind not playing bass with this one.

Judging from what I picked, the band name would probably be "Derek and the Allman Who"

He is phenomenal. I don't mean that lightly. His technique is original and bluesy. He is a great slide guitar player. His recordings build a massive wall of sound. He approaches the guitar in a completely unique way that no one has yet to emulate. I think he is great. I think hes one of the best and he hardly gets any recognition. I suppose he did in the 90's, but he ain't dead yet.

Yes. and yet the only song "everyone" knows by the verve is bittersweet symphony.
