Some laughs at me, some don't pay attention, i think this is pure feeling while you are playing! and if not, lets Tito Puente say it..

Back in the early nineties I was in a metal band that constantly got on to me for not grimacing. My nickname is smiley and I smile non-stop when I'm having a good time. The ladies in the audiance were mostly on my side of the stage. They didn't like it, so they got some ugly dude that couldnt play but made angry faces. Just sayin'....

On my side, I do grimace a lot when I play.

But the worst I've seen was Big D and the Kids Table's bassplayer.

Every player I know does. Some more than others. When I play, and I am really getting into it, my face looks like I just had a stroke. Maybe that's because sometimes I drool.
