Who of you are really really crappy guitarist??

The fate was accurate with me.. Basses suit me perfectly in every way.. i mean.. My hands are large, and I just can't do certain chords at the right time, most of all seventh and ninth chords types, I have to press note by note to assemble the chord and when I try to do solos in the higher frets, it's almost impossible to put fingers in chromatic phrases or halfstep notes.... i will never be a guitarrist, is just not for me .. i play the drums well, that's my "ability with another instrument" and thank god on the bass, nothing said from the above happens .. is a very different instrument....

I have a baritone guitar because of this problem... my mitts feel just too big for a tiny little gee-tar....

I'm awful at guitar compared to how well I can play bass. I can play keyboard a bit.

Yep, I'm pretty bad.

Better than most guitarists are on bass, though.

I'm probably about equal, which isn't to say that I am excellent at both, but for what I wish to do, I can manage.

I`m a crappy lead, but I think I`m a better rhythm guitarist than most. Thanks to bass playing I actually have some feel when I rock out on guitar, unlike most dedicated guitar players

I totally blow chunks at guitar. I have to use "The Incredible Chord Finder" when I'm writing songs and do about a million punches in Pro Tools to get the most basic parts down. I'm a bassist to the core.

i'm a wannabe guitarist. at least that's what i'm told, all the time, by folks seeing my basses for the first time.

which is sorta funny, since any one of my basses would eat your average electric guitar in one bite without even having to chew.

I'm not bad on guitar. I've been playing guitar since 1980. However, I can never play like Steve Howe, George Benson and Carlton. I was determined to play some of their stuff and bought a Gibson semi-hollow body in 2008 and it's been collecting dust:-)

I'm a ****** guitar player. Although, I've never been motivated to learn anything more than 'cowboy chords'. I wouldn't even classify myself anywhere near the title of guitarist! LOL!

There are enough guitarists in the world, figure I don't need to join the collective!
