Joe Pass (born Joseph Anthony Passalacqua) was raised in my hometown, Johnstown, PA. I never got to meet him since he left the area when I was a kid but I know people who knew him and played with him and said he was amazing. His son still lives in this area but is not involved with music at all.

It is tough to pick just one favorite musician other than bass but I will go with Neil Peart.

Tom Morello. He seems like such a down to earth guy. But I'm not sure if he counts because he played the bass parts on the Street Sweeper album.

Did I miss an "S" at the end of the word musician or can't some of you guys commit to just one. .......
