Who's the best Carvin sales rep?

Sign in to disble this ad
Calling all Carvinophiles...

In your experience, who's the most professional Carvin sales rep with whom you've dealt? The guy who always goes above and beyond? The guy who always follows through? The guy who always gets the correct information to you in a timely manner, and consistently facilitates anything you need - whether it be a special order, or just information & advice?

I'm going to place another order with Carvin shortly, and I'd like to throw the commission to the sales rep who most deserves it. Any nominees?

MM

As a hardcore Carvinite I have a few people to mention....

I live in San Diego so I get to bug them personally, and I have done most of my work through Jorge in the SD showroom. He helped me with my custom built X100B halfstack as well as being the guy I ordered my first Carvin guitar through. Although Jorge is the one I've worked with the most both Flock and Louis are great guys as well.

If you go through the Carvin forum you will find Manny's name comes up quite a bit. He works at the Hollywood store I believe.

I admit I cheat a bit since I know Jeff Kiesel (Mark Kiesels son, and Director of National Sales) who has hooked me up quite a few times.

In short I think they have a lot of good people working for them but I usually do my business with Jorge or Jeff if he's available.

I used to deal with Bob Chini all the time. I think he pretty much owns that place by now.....

I called up yesterday and just happened to get Keith Ighner on the phone. Must be the same Keith you mentioned.

He seemed like a pretty sharp guy - right on top of things. So I ordered two (2) Icon 5 bass guitars from him - one fretted, one fretless. Will post photos once I get 'em in December...

Who says the economy is hurting!?

This is a good thread, because as much as I love my Carvin stuff, I've dealt with a couple of real nugget heads in the sales department. It's good to have a reference for the good guys.

So, what does it feel like to call up Carvin and order a couple of basses at once.
