Who's In you Rock and Roll Fantasy Band?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I wanna know....If you could get together the most awesome band ever comprised of your favorite musicians, who would be in it.

So here's the only guidelines as it's your fantasy.

1. Try not to take more than 1 member of any band.

2. If you want, put yourself on bass or whatever other instrument. It's your FANTASY.

So Mine would probably go:

-Vocals: Chris Cornell- Soundgarden, Audioslave

-Guitar1/ Keys/Synths: Johnny Greenwood- Radiohead

-Guitar2: David Gilmour- Pink Floyd

-Bass: Justin Chancellor- Tool

-Drums: Neil Pert- RUSH

I don't know what they'd sound like but I'm sure it would be amazing!

Tell us yours!

Dude...

Josh H0mme on guitar/vocals, JPJ on bass, and Dave Grohl on drums and back up vocals... We'll call them Them Crooked VuLtuReS

But in all serious-ness,

Ed Vedder- Lead Vocals
Mike McCready on lead guitar
Cobain on rythm guitar and backup vocals
Robert DeLeo on bass
Mr. Grohl on drums

The perfect storm of GRUNGE

Zeppelin is as close as you'll ever get to a real fantasy band, but let's give this a try

Vox: Steven Tyler
Guitar: Jimmy Page and SRV double lead
Bass: hmmm..... James Jamerson
Skinz: Keith Moon

I would LOVE to play (theoretically, of course) with both James Jamerson and Keith Moon...BUT NOT IN THE SAME BAND! I'm thinking James wouldn't much care for it, either.

Yea. I know a little bit far-fetched sticking the two together. Maybe a sub then. This may seem a little out there too, but perhaps try Nick Mason of Floyd. I think his style might be able to accomadate some blues (SRV in particular) prettey darn well.

The most entertaining Band Ever!

It wouldn't last one song!

But, in all seriousness:

Vocals: Jon Anderson and Roger Daltrey -Yes and The Who (Harmony)

Guitar: Alex Lifeson and Pete Townshend -Rush and The Who (Rhythm and Lead Switch off)

Bass: Chris Squire -Yes

Drums: KEITH MOON!!!!!!!

Keys: Rick Wakeman/Patrick Moraz/Tony Banks -Triple Keyboard Explosion!

I'd pay all of the money to see that.

There are so many good players out there so I'll have to do more than one band. Let's see how much I can make.

Band #1

Vocals Robert Plant
Lead Guitar SRV
Rhythm Guitar Malcolm Young
Bass Dusty Hill
Drums Charlie Watts

^ Now that would be a ****ing tight Blues rock band

Band #2 (Something heavier this time)

Vocals Rob Halford
Lead Guitar Dave Mustaine
Rhythm Guitar/2nd Lead Tony Iommi
Bass Billy Sheehan
Drums Lars Ulrich

Band #3 (I'll just gather the ones I think are the best at what they do without thinking it as a band)

Vocals Bon Scott
Lead Guitar Jimi Hendrix
2nd Lead Jimmy Page
Rhythm Guitar Malcolm Young
Bass John Entwistle
Drums Phil Rudd

Dang three AC/DC members . Well what can you do

I'd like that ! Maybe with Josh Homme instead of Curt Cobain...

guitar (& vocals) - pete towhnsend
bass - jaco (or me if he's already booked )

I think they'd might make great songs together...
or maybe it would just be chaos..
