There have been similar threads in Miscellaneous (where this belongs) but I'll play along.

My favorite is probably either Jeff Buckley or Otis Redding.

Other voices I love: Freddie Mercury, Nina Simone, Chris Cornell, Mike Patton(see Latimor's post for recent Peeping Tom stuff), Marvin Gaye (best rendition of the national anthem ever) Toots Hibbert and Sarah McLachlan.
