First time I heard him I thought it was a woman singing...

But, I saw them at the Warped Tour last year and they were amazing. Got the bassist to sign some stuff at their booth and eventually saw Claudio Sancez and Travis Stever.

My tow favorite singers, though are John Frusciante and Chris Cornell.

Paul Carrack

When I wrote songs with my old band, his voice was the one I heard in my head. It was only years later when I heard him sing 'Living Years' with Mike + the Mechanics that I thought "THAT'S who I wanted to sound like!"

Stevie Wonder

I've still to hear one as talented vocalist that can express feelings of all kinds as well as he does. He sounds always very honest, and his able to express also happiness in his vocals without sounding even remotely silly (e.g. Isn't She Lovely) lifts him up on the first place on the podium. I haven't heard many vocalists that can do that as well as he does it. He's an incredibly talented composer, lyricist and instrumentalist as well.

I always thought Paul Rodgers had a great rock and roll voice, especially back in the 'Free' days. I think it was his voice that made Bad Company stand out from the crowd, and I understand that he is now providing vocals for the reconstituted "Queen".
