... not playing his Sadowsky on American Idol any more? He's been using the Smith since about the middle of last season.

After hearing the tone of that thing on Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm not about to question why he is using it. Sounds goooooood.

Perhaps Minor's interest in Sadowsky is diminished?

I'll be lucky to get out of here alive!

Mike

I have no idea who or what you are discussing since I don't have TV reception or cable in my area. Tone...shmone. Maybe he's playing the Smith because he likes heavy basses. The 5er in my local shop weighs significantly more than a Bongo or Stingray. More like the 12 lb sledgehammer I've got out in the barn. I've never played or picked up a Sadowsky that would come close to weighing that much.

Rick has been playing the KS's since the early 80's and they have for many many years been his first pick for the many projects that he's involved in/with.

and his office(and studio) is on the same lot as American Idol.

Amen to that! I'll never have a favorite bass... too many cool ones out there.
