Cool Wilbyman is throwing a new-house warming party...

... and everyone's invited!

No gift necessary, but from my understanding, Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill and Andre Rieu CD's are always appreciated. See you there.

I'm talking about a road trip, AD. Haven't you ever been to a Wilby throw-down? It's insane. I'll swing by and pick you up. Don't forget your toga... or that blonde wig and spikes of yours.

W, we're on our way!

This quite simply is the greatest thread ever!

Alright J, I'm in. Pick me up on your way down. I don't think my leather pants'll fit anymore but I'll be sure to give 'em a go.

Right on guys. Gard, you're in charge of bringing that wicked No' Cacalacky BBQ. Now, who's gonna let Wilma know we're on the way?

Sadly, I'm a transplant, and don't care for the local variety of BBQ....I'm more of a Memphis or Florida BBQ guy....yes, I do realize that that, combined with my total lack of interest in ACC basketball and NASCAR confirms my status as a heathen in North Carolina....

Awesome

Our big trial just got continued, so y'all are invited to my house for a drunken GTG as soon as you can get here. Bring basses and beer. My Gardfather must bring no less than five Roscoes. Bino is in charge of Lakies. Emjazz has to bring some of Jim Bergantino's new partical accelerator amplification equipment. I will see if BString can get Bromberg to show up for a private concert. It's on!

Hey!

It's a person in WV!

And he has more posts than I do....and I've never read from him...

Now I'm perplexed.

Or he just doesn't post in Amps, lounge and offtopic that often...

I guess I Can't hold it against people for using other forums...

But is there actual possibility of a GTG in WV?

If I had more space I'd hold one.

hmmmmm.....

/ramble off

I think it sounds like fun. WV is kind of a half-way point for the DC, NC, Ohio contingency. I've got a big house now and space to do it in my spacious basement studio. If there's some interest I'd be glad to have you guys. Might have to check the Parkersburg ordinances to see if there's a low freq law in effect...wait, my Dad's the municipal judge! LOL.

Sno, do you know Chris (jazz bassist from Charleston...can't remember his last name...)?

Will

Chris Allen?

We've spoken several times. He plays with Bob Thompson's jazz group and his own funk/progressive band Freak Tent.

Superb player. I've always heard that he has an attitude problem, but whenever I've talked to him he's come across as a classy guy.

I was thinking of coming down and bringin a bevy of strippers. Unfortunately, the cash flow is low so y'all will just have to be happy with seeing Gard dance on a table (it'll have to be one sturdy table).

Um, does community college count? LOL. I like the idea though. However, my wife might not approve. I'm fairly certain that I'm already on double secret probation.

Aw, she's probably just feeling left out. Invite her too. Jive will babysit.
