Window Shopping

Hey folks,
This is my first post. I'm concerned about the fact that I've spent more time "window shopping" and oggling new gear online than I have practicing. As an American, it's way too easy to get caught up in lusting for new gear - the preponderance of advertising in our society makes it hard not to... Anyone have the same issues? Is there a cure for this "disease?"
