Not sure if this is the right section. But I am looking for some recommendations on a midrange (read I am not a touring pro) wireless set up for my rack. I would obviously prefer it to be rack mountable, but price versus performance is my main concern here. I play 4 strings in regular tuning (occasionally drop c for some sabbath). thanks in advance.

It actually goes in Miscellaneous, but I'm sure a mod will be along to move it shortly.

Price / performance? X2. Rack-mount versions aren't quite as cheap as the stomp-box version, but lots of bang for the buck regardless (and if you can live without the rack version, the basic $299 stomp box one will blow your socks off).

Sennheiser EW172-G2 is a great unit as well.

Thanks for the heads up. I saw that one listed online. Sounded good, but since I know nothing about them, figured I would ask.

I use the AKG Guitarbug. Its worked great for me so far and I've put it through quite a lot. You have to buy the rack mount kit for it separately though.

does anyone have oppinions on the Shure PG14E?

I have been looking at various units, but I'm quite limited by my location (UK) and my budget, is this unit worth buying?

I can't find the proper spec for this thing anywhere
