wireless rig question

so I went to setup for my gig last night ... which is tonight, and testing a wireless kit i've had for awhile.. it's a 4 channel seisenheim or somethin or other.

I've used it before at home and one prior gig fine, this time it was cutting out, clipping, not outputting the appropriate volume, etc.

This gig is right near a large airport .. could the airport have an rf suppression or something going on?

i took the unit home and it worked fine back home last night.

That very well could be the case. I had a cheaper wireless unit which I had problems with at one bar that was next to a couple of radio station and TV towers. I bough a more expensive unit with many channels and haven't had an issue since then at the same place.

well this one has 4 channels on it .. i didn't have a screwdriver to switch channels at the bar last night, i'll try it during soundcheck tonight.
