Wireless - Senn 172G2 vs freeport?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi,
Just wondered if anyone has had a chance to compare the 2 wireless options from Sennheiser?

The freeport looks to be good buy for the money, but I wonder how much actual difference there is?

Thanks
John

i have the Freeport and have been very happy with it, playing both 4 and 5 sting basses. One difference I know of is that the Freeport uses 9volt batteries and I believe the 172 use AA or AAA batteries.

Honestly, i have never heard of anyone that was unhappy with a Sennheiser wireless (the Freeport is my 3rd Senny wireless - other 2 were stolen)

Thanks Justice... I'm struggling to find much in the way of reviews. I assume there's more to it than just the difference in batteries and more channels on the G2, but I can't see what.

I'm very tempted...
