Wireless systems - Shure vs. AT

I'm looking into getting a wireless system for my bass, and I'm trying to get some opinions. I've basicly got it down to the Shure PGX system and the Audio-Technica 1400 series. What do you say?

sure is generally better, but i dunno about the specific models

Yeah, Shure was my initial choice, but I can get the similar A-T model for about $100 or so less.

I don't know the answer to your question, but maybe someone who does can chime in as to whether there acually is a good wireless for bass? I have yet to see a favorable user review for wireless bass systems that was good enough to make me want to give up my wire.

i have an audio-technia system. its okay, noy great, not bad. it does the job you expect for $100. if you know how to use them they can be worth it

i have the pgx. no problems, works great, no noise, allows me to do my standing backflips on stage while I play, lets me walk into the audience and get chick's numbers, but it only lasts for 8 hours on 2 aa batteries.

I love my Shure UHF wireless. One 9v battery lasts maybe 40 hours.
