| Cool that you figured out a solution; but mono? Naturally the 1/4" speaker cable has only two wires, that would be the case even if it had come with a 4-pole plug attached, and two wires pretty much = mono. Most Speakon cables I've seen are already set up for mono, and one with a two-pole plug is mono already for sure. The only problem is if the receiving jack on your amp requires a 4-pole plug due to the placement of the wires connecting it internally. That's the real issue, not whether the cable is mono. But you arrived at the solution anyway, so you're in good shape. |
